THE PACIFIC RIM GROUP comprises
John R. Henderson, who grew up in Vancouver, Canada, established The Pacific Rim Group in Hong Kong in 1986. John saw an opportunity to assist foreign companies to access the Hong Kong market as well as to assist Asian companies who required North American management expertise.
In 1994, the Group opened its Vancouver office and substantially expanded its corporate finance and market entry services. Technology consulting and China market assessments followed shortly after.
In 1999, the Group led the acquisition of a Canadian public listed company involved in the international telecommunications equipment business. Mr. Henderson became the President & CEO of the company and successfully turned around the company, including raising in excess of C$10 million.
In 1999, key management of the Group conceived of and developed OneAsia.com, an online e-commerce retailer of Asian entertainment products. The company raised in excess of US$10 million as well as selling a portion of its shares to a public company. The latter transaction resulted in all shareholders earning substantial profits in 2000.
During the past five years, the Group has continued to service its corporate secretarial and accounting clients while expanding its activities in China and North America.
Mr. Henderson relocated to Canada in late 2003 and currently is actively involved as a director and advisor to several companies in Canada, China, Japan and the US.

Using our 'One Office, Two Countries' approach, Pacific Rim staff in Hong Kong and Vancouver work together as a single integrated team. We use technology and time zones to deliver cost effective and responsive services. Daily communication between our two locations allows us to be on the pulse of what is happening in Asia and North America.
Our Chinese name (pronounced Ce Ying in Mandarin and Chat Wing in
Cantonese) means pre-eminent, sharp strategy and brilliant tactics – all components of our philosophy of
providing "Creative Solutions for Growing Companies". Our corporate colour is teal blue, reflecting our
freshness, clarity and dynamism.
Our corporate logo represents the identity of The Pacific Rim Group. The three ellipses symbolize our
coverage of Asia and North America, our creative thinking and our progressive character. The linkages of
the ellipses reflect the group's long-term commitment to our clients, as well as our ability to bridge
the distance and time between North America and Asia Pacific. These principles will be our guide to the
future direction of the company into the next millennium.
